Decadent Chocolate Avocado Mousse


This mousse is a game-changer for all the chocolate lovers out there. It’s rich, creamy, and surprisingly healthy. The secret ingredient? Avocado! Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. This dessert is sure to become a staple in your kitchen.

Prepping time: 10 minutes

Chilling time: 2 hours (includes chilling time)

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados (about 500 grams)

1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder (about 50 grams)

1/4 cup of maple syrup (about 60 ml)

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (about 5 ml)

A pinch of sea salt

Steps:

1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.

2. In a food processor, combine the avocado, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt.

3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

4. Divide the mousse between four serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

5. Serve chilled and enjoy this guilt-free dessert!
